The Kuykendall family Harasser
In 2006, a 16 year old Courtney Kuykendall's phone started sending out random text messages to her friends.
Soon someone started to call the and told that he will kill them, their pets and their grandparents. They told abut this to the police, and the investigation told that the the calls were coming from the same phone they were coming to.
The obvious suspect was Courtney, but even when her phone was turned off, the calls continued to coming.
But the things just got worst: whoever was calling, knew all the things about the family: what they were doing or what they were wearing.
The stalker left a voice message with recorded conversations that the family does, also the day when the police had visited them. This continued for four month. The cell phone company didn't think that the technology to hijack existed at the time.
However, the police said that the cell phone could be hijacked by a spyware. The police thought that the family could have been making a story up, but similar cases had happened in other families with their cell phones.

The abduction and murder of Amy Mihaljevic
The police always go to schoold to told children not to go with strangers anywhere.
The problem with Amy was, that her kidnapper was not a stranger to her. They talked by phone few times. The stranger told her that her mother knows him. Amy even told her friends about a stranger, but not to any adult that he was calling her.
That day Amy told her friend she was meeting her secret caller to go buy her mother a present. After Amy met the man, he allowed her to call her mother, who assumed she was calling from home. It was only after she arrived home that she realized that Amy had never been there.
A search for Amy was done. But, sadly, the girl's body was not found until February 7, 1990. her head had signs of trauma, and it appeared that she was probably sexually assaulted and stabbed. It also looked like the body was dumped a short time after she was kidnapped. The barbaric murder made national headlines and was features on America's most wanted. Yet, no one has ever been arrested in connection with the crime. Investigators are still hoping to track down the mystery caller.
