Stillborn angels

Stillborn angels

This website is really creepy. But is totally real, its about women who can't deal with the fact that their babies were stillborn. It is filled with images of dead babies, dressed and just posing for the beautiful photo.

Everyone has their problems and obviously they can have a remember card about it, but posting those photos, well...

Movies inspired on true stories

In this blog you know I like to post about things that really happened, about unsolved mysteries, some of legends too...

But nothing shocks you more than the movies based on true stories, when you realize that it really happened, and much more if its a horror movie: about a maniacs, catastroph or a nature itself.

I was interested in some characters I met in video games, like the Eddie Gluskin from Outlast, or Bloodyface from AHS series.

So let me begin to explore this type of movies, and hope you enjoy it and maybe you like some of them!

1. The girl nextdoor (2007)

The movie:

Aunt tortures and abuse her niece, and a neighborhood boy fails to alert the authorities.

The real inspiration:

Based on a Jack Ketchum's novel of the same name, is based on the murder of Sylvia Likens, a 16,years old girl from Indiana in 1965. Sylvia and her sister jenny were left in the care of a family friend, Gertrude Baniszewski, when their parents left town as travelling carnival workers.
Baniszewski, along with her children and a few neighborhood kids, locked Sylvia in the basement, where they tortured and abused her until she died of a brain hemorhage and malnutrition.

2. Deranged (1974)

Seeing this photo, did it remind you of someone?
So, if you think about Ed Gein, you're right!
This 70's movie relates us a story about this peculiar character,

Did you ever loved someone so much, that you kept their body even after their death? So, this movie is exactly about that! It is inspired on the most notorious serial killer, Ed Gein.

***

3. Ravenous (1999)

How would you felt if you had to eat a human meat? This is the most underrated movie about cannibalism which will spook you like nothing else can.

"You are what you eat"

Literally.

***

3. Borderland (2007)

Oh, what's next? If you are a psycho, you like gore details, this is just for you, my friend!

Based on a real cult leader Adolfo de Jesús Constanzo, this movie has a gory details of how human sacrifice was practiced by the cult.

!!!Spoiler!!!

Toes, fingers and even brain were cut out by him, and you can watch all of that in this movie.

***

4. The dentist (1966)

Ho ho ho.... OMG! I just remember this movie! We rent it one day on the 90`s and as a child, I remember this horrible movie, I don't remember a particular scene, but just a lot of blood and the guy, the dentist, killing their patients.

Just see it before you go to the dentist! ;D

***

Hope for your new movie session you will see one of those movies!

Nice watch!

Legends

The Paulding Light

Also called "Lights of Pauldimg", or "Dog Meadow light", is a light that appear in a  valley that lies outside of Paulding, Michigan.

Reports of the light have appeared since 1960s, with popular folklore ptoviding explanations as ghosts, geologic activity or swamp gas.

The legend:

- Most popular legend involves the death of a railroad brakeman. The legend states that the valley once contained tracks and the light is the lantern of the brakeman who was killed while attempting to stop an oncoming train from colliding with railway cars stopped on the tracks.

2. Kolyma Highway: the road of the bones

- The R504 Kolyma highway, part of the M56 route, is a road through the Russian fas East.
- "Russia's gold rush" was different from California's. There were slaves, prisoners, worked to death, on what became known as the "Road of bones".
- Now is one of the most inhospitable places, the route from nowhere to the back of beyond, is lined with abandoned villages, ones gulag camps.
- Under Stalin hundreds of thousands of prisoners endured those expremes and more. Kolyma, the river which lents its name of the whole region, was in the words of Alexander Solzhenitsyn, "a poleof cold and cruelty".

- Armed only with pickaxes and wheelbarrows, prisoners, among them the founder of the Soviet space programme, generals and intellectuals, with common criminals, hacked and hewed at permafrost in hunt for gold.

The guilty secret: murder related in a book

Liu Yongbiao murdered four person and soon related it in his book, called "The guilty secret".

There ir no a better inspiration for a book or a movie that the reality, and as we all know, the reality is always a lot more surprising that the fiction.

The famous chinese writer, Liu Yongbiao, is arrested for committing a crime 22 years ago, and as a confession, has written about this in a book.

The story:

The night of 29th of november of 1995, four person were murdered by a crowd in a pension of the Huzhou city, the west province of Zhejiang.
To rob one of the guests, they beat him 'till death, and to hide their crime, they also killed the couple that were with him, and also his grandchild, of 13 years old.

At the beginning, there were two clients of the pension being suspicious, they were registered the same night the crime were committed, from the province of Anhui. One of the cause was their marked accent. By this time, there was not obligated to be registered with the identity card, for that reason the receptionist can't say much about their real identity.

More that two decades soon, as related in "China Daily", there were new proves and analizes of DNA and fingerprints in 15 provinces, came to the detention of Liu Yongbiao, and his accomplice, of 64 years old, called Wang.

-"I was waiting for you all this time" with these words, the writer recieved the police in his house, to arrest him.

Nobody, includes his wife and family, known about the crime.

He admitted his crime in a video, and with this he can give his inspiration a step in a prison.

Trenton State Hospital

Originally named New Jersey State Lunatic Asylum, has a long history of helping mentally ill patients, and harming them.
Opened in 1848 and welcomed 86 patients. The first superintendent, Horace Buttolph, was a good man, and provided an excellent care for the people in this care.

Then dr. Henry Cotton took over and the horror began. He began his tenue in 1907, Cotton thought infections caused mental illness.
To test his theories he removed his patients teeths, limbs or any body parts with the slightest sign of infection.

He continued this practice until 1924, when Cotton was put to a review by a peer board. A well respected psychiatrist, Phyllis Greenacre, provides critical reviews and questioned Cotton's work.

In 1925, the New Jersey State Senate held an investigation and found the doctor provided cutting edge treatment and approved his work. He continued killing patients until 1930, when he retired. The hospital staff continued to remove teeth, limbs and organs through the 1950s.

After his death in 1933 a review found his medical procedures killed 45 o/0 ofhis patients.

When the hospital discontinued his gruesome methods, many wings were abandoned and left to fall into disrepair. Still a fully operational psychiatric hospital and a correctional facility remain on the grounds. Currently, the facility is facing its fair share of controversy.

An analysis of State hospital data (by the express-times) from the 2005 through 2010 shows Trenton recorded the highest rates of violence and patient restraint compared to New Jersey's other state psychiatric  hospitals.
Department of human resources shows that 112(71 o/*)  of the incidents occured in the Trenton State Hospital

Space mysteries

I just realized that I always post about earth mysteries, and there is always things related to real stories, mysteries we have on this planet, but...

I always was very interested about space, planets, galaxies, black matter.... And I think that there are a lot of people who like it too, and so from now on, I will add a point in my list and we will explore science mysteries together.

First, and I think one of the most popular things to talk about is, the Black Hole.

What is a Black Hole? How it works?

Is a region in space that exhibit a high gravitation level, that even planets, galaxies, stars and even the light, can't escape from it.
In fact, a Black Hole it's doesn't visible as a thing, such a planet, or star, to explain it, the Black Hole is a part of nothing, a black region, in the space, that is noticeble by a rare activity of the planets, their movement is faster that the usual, because of the high level of gravity, Black Hole just call them like a vacuum cleaner, that makes them move faster by the axis. Just throw a big ball to the bed, and then put around small balls, you will see that the big one attracts the small balls by the gravity.

Goldfield hotel: paranormal activities

I heard about this hotel recently, and this was really interesting, because of using real cameras and sound.

So first about the hotel, a bit of history:

Is a historic building located at the southeast corner at the Crook Avenue (U.S), Goldfield, Esmeralda County, Nevada.

So, what exactly is it that makes Goldfield Hotel haunted?

Well, according to legend, room 109 is haunted by a pregnant prostitute named Elizabeth. Supposedly, she was chained to the radiator by George Winfield, the hotel’s original owner. He didn’t want anyone to know he had gotten her pregnant and was afraid she’d tell, ruining his reputation. After giving birth, Elizabeth was left to die in the room and her newborn was disposed of by being thrown down the mine shaft, which the hotel was built over. Since that incident, many people have reported seeing her in room 109. They’ve also felt her presence. Several people have even heard loud cries from a baby. Elizabeth may be a well-known ghost at the hotel, but she’s not the only one. Ghosts of small children playing on the lobby staircase have been reported, in addition to a ghost that randomly stabs hotel visitors.

Even the ghost of George Winfield has been seen.

Many people, who went to analyse this place after, in our century guys, went with cameras to pretend film something rare. And it was, by sound and some happenings by filming.

Dark asylums

Hello, my dear audience, and hope you will waiting for me...!!

Today I will talk about several hospitals, my favourite part od the dark world! ( hope your too...)

1. Letchworth Village

After testing the polio vaccine, this mental hospital sits in ruin.
It was a pacefull, small town fell, and in 1911 is was choosen to be the home of a progressive experiment: an utopian village, where the mentally ill could fins calm and refuge. Nowadays we seem it like a sinister place, but from the start, it was a progressive place: there were a power station, shops, sprawling grounds and places of worships.

Despite such od goos intentions, unfortunately Letchworth Village was almost immediately overcrowded, with the majority of its patients being children. It seemed to follow a trajectory from a "noble-facility-for-healing", to "abusive-humam-rights-horror-show" to finally "haunting-ruins".

The facility was up-front about its intentions to use the patients bas guinea pigs in clinical trials. The most camous case was the experimental polio vaccine, which was successfully tested on an eight-year old boy in 1950.
It was finally closeď in 1996, after years of reports of abuse, neglect and abysmal conditions. We will never know what truly happened in this hospital, but there is an evidence about a mile from Letchworth, a small cementery hidden in the forest off Call Hollow Rood, most of the graves are about the size of a child. In plan of names, the graves are merely numbered.

2. Alcatraz's Off Limits hospital

With an operating room, psychiatric cells, wards with beds, and other resources, a visiting surgeon and specialists gave regular care to the maximum security prisoners, without risking their escape. Medical care was one of the only four basic rights granted to pisoners.

3. Gonjiam Pshychiatric Hospital

It has been called one of the most haunted places on South Korea, and CNN has claimed it was "one of the most freakiest places in the world". Gonjiam was forced to close mainly sue to economic downturns, insanitary conditions and problems with the sewage disposal system, not due to insane doctors or murderous patients.
The buildings stand complete with rushed out machines, hospital remnants, trash, and filthy  mattresses, adding to its creepy and haunted reputation.

*****

Hole you liked this part with asylums as Iiked it, soon I will post more interesting places or cases I will find!!!

Thank you dor visiting me and until very soon!!

Cindy James: terrifying case

Sincerly, if you read this, you think that she was mentally ill, and I am one those who think it.

So, let's begin with the story:

In Vancouver, British columbia, in an abandoned house, was found a female body drugged and strangled, her hands and feets were tied behind her back.
The victim was forty-four-year-old nurse, called Cindy James.

Cindy reported nearly a hundred incidents of harassment beginning four months after she left her husband. According to her friend, Agnes Woodcock, she said bizarre notes began to appear on her doorstep.

Cindy also hired a private investigator, changed her last name, moved to a new house, painted her car...

Through the investigation, there was blood on the driver's side door of the car, and the items of the wallet were under the car. Two weeks later her body was found in an abandoned house It looked like she was brutally murdered.

The investigation determined that she died of an "unknown event". Cindy's parents never doubted that their daughter was murdered.

Through the investigation the suspect was her ex-husband, Roy Makepeace.

The case is unsolved.

Paraphilias

What is a philia?
A philia is a inconscenous love to something, you may know the pedophilia, love to children (in sexual sense). So there are many of the types, but I would name some srangest of them and maybe not so famous.

1. DGS

DGS, or transcript as Dorian Grey Syndrome, characterized by a man's extreme pride in his personal apperence and the fitness of the physique, also by it narcissistic character traits, and the immaturity of arrested development.

Those people tend to preserve the youth and consume a lot of cosmethic, hair restoration, anti-impotence drugs and cosmetic surgery.

We can see a lot of old man and women that tries to keep the youth, by doing extreme surgeries, putting alot of make-up, .... But seriously, often it seems not so good as they think.

***

2. Necrofilia

This is a most famous philia, If someone yet didn't know about it, here you go:
Necrofilia is a sexual desire for dead bodies.

Is also seem in animals. Like dolphins.
Pretty creepy!!!

***

3. Vorarefilia or canibalism

Armin Meiwes on the right

Armin Meiwes, the most famous case from the Deep web: he was on a forum called "Cannibal café", where people search for each other to being eaten by others or eat another person. Armin was arrested for eat another person, thaat he found in a forum, and this was not a victim, because this person free volunteered for this action . They also made a videotape showing the process of their "meeting".
I don't know the victim's name, if you want to know, just search a little bit on the internet.

Severalls Hospital, England

Just found another hospital, exciting and creepy!

many people dosen't feel anything about abandoned places, but they hang a really special aura, and transmit something !!

There also were done electroshoking therapy and lobotomies, like in all the rest of mental asylums.
Several of the female patients were committed by their families after birthing bastard children, often the result of being raped.

The hospital opened in 1913, and had shut down in 1997.

Just a call to the rudeness of some people

I am referring to the rudeness to invalid people, LGBTQ people, some fat people, in the social media and real life.

There was a real case of a sister of the Russian model Natalia Vodyanova, when her sister was at a cafe with her nani and the local owner toke her off, and even called the police, because "she was frightening the costumers off the local". The sister of Natalia Vodyanova is suffering сerebral palsy, and she is 27 years-old.

The case is horrible.

And referring to the LGBTQ people, Russians are just so rude, they just hate them. Even if they say that, "they have the right to be who they want" , they do a + of "but they can't express themself in public, they can't marry, they can't have children, ..... etc."

And not only Russia, I am talking about Russia because I know the topic and I really met people who directly told me that these people can't exist in our country, but they are talking about tolerance, that we need to love each other, no matter, because we are all humans.

Ok. now you see.

I am very tolerant, and I, myself, I am lesbian. And it touch my heart always when I hear about it.

BIID and Cotard syndrome

I first heard about the BIID syndrome from the creepypasta BARBIE.avi

But it really exist. Because of that, this creepypasta turn you to see it even more creepy.

Body integrity identity disorder or BIID. Also refers to amputee body parts. People who had this syndrome, think they would live happier whithout a part of their body.

Orphanates: horror stories

There was sexual abuse and body abuse not only in asylums, but in orphanates too.

This time, the kids are who suffer, without chance to talk about or report it.

Generally, it happened in XX century, but I am not sure about the actual years, but some of them do happened in XX century.

I will mention the worst of them, but you can do a search for yourself to read articles, and have a better idea of that.

1. Ungerini "Home for incurables" (Romania)

Ungerini is just one of the many Romanian orphanages that became flooded with children after former dictator Nicolae Ceausecu banned abortion and contraceptives, and imposed a "celibacy tax" in 1960s. By the 1989, 170,000 children lived in orphanages.

According to Patreascu Peberdy, his early childhood in the orphanage had been a nightmarish experience. He was left tied to a cot that he shared with another boy, Iulian, who later died from the long-term abuse he had suffered.

After Peberdy was adopted, it tool 13 surgeries to correct the deformities he sustained during his years at the orphanage. When his adoptive parents found him, he was suffering from polio and malnutrition, and had been confined to a "dying room".

http://www.nytimes.com/2006/05/10/world/europe/10romania.html?_r=0

2. Mazanovsky Orphanage (Russia, 2013)

You need just to see this, there is a real video from there, sharing how they treated the children.

This orphanate gained notoriety after a footage emerged showing orphans being brutally beaten. In the video, two adolescent "carers" are seen whipping and kicking seven young boys. The video was anonymously realesed to the local media.

When asked about the abuse by another employee at the Mazanovsky orphanage, one of the offenders allegedly said: "I was beaten in the orphanage, and I'm going to beat them too".

Shocking, that's the only thing that could be said.

The video:

Insane asylums of the past

Reading this article, I was just replaying Outlast !! They made it so real, as it was in the past.

Just read the reasons to be admitted in the asylum

1. Lobotomy

It was one of the most used treatements used to patients, it wouls result the patient became zombie, with no expression.

2. Electroconvulsive therapy

Also known as shock therapy, the patients were subject to electric shocks to numb all their feelings and cure their illness.

2. Horrible conditions

Those who could not control themself, where hold in cages for days or even months or years.
Some asylums held as many as ten times the amount of patients it could hold and some just had only three attendees for these patients, leaving them to sleep in filth and their own excrement.

3. Left naked

The patiets were left naked and with no activity. There was no cleanliness and the patients were left to wallow in their own filth.
The hospital were build to hold 2500 patients, but hold 6000 with o care and facilities.

4. Unquilifyied staff

There were small number of trained stuff, so they employed help from whenever they got it, no matter of the qualifications.
Blackwell prison hired prisoners to take care of the patients.

And the rest you know, terrible experiments made in patients, terrible facilities> patients were left in darkness at night,

Asylum stories: most strange "cure" for patients

I always loved to see movies and play games with this genre. My favourite.

I loves playing Outlast, for its story, the stories of the patients, subjected to experiments, when they turn really insane.

The medicaments sometimes could make the patient feel worst than when it was submitted to the hospital, because of the horrible experiments doctors made on them. Well, those poor patients always suffer the most, because of their illness and because of doctors who make experiments on them.

1. Asylums where doctors prescribed LSD

Dr. Abramson, the former director of research at the Amityville Insne Asylum, was called a Psychiatric Dracula by his collegues for his cruel methods. He would prescribes LSD to his patients.

He was involved in programme called MKULTRA in which he performed mind colntrol experiments for the CIA.

The doctor never told what he prescribed to his patients, so several of them turned addicted.

If you remember, this method was one of the used in Mount Massive asylum, in Outlast. The ones who have read the documents, will remember this.

2. Bethlam Royal Hospital in London

This asylum was desorganized and and insane. The word "bedlam" stands for confusion and noise. This is the oldest asylum in the world, admitting since 1357. Known by atrocious conditions and cruel treatments of its patients.
The public were invited to watch the victims in cages and even poke them with sticks.

3. Pilgram psychiatric center

Centered in Long Island. Could house as many 14.000 patients at a time.
This hospital used extremely agressive methods of curing.

Lobotamy and electric shock therap were the norm. The doctors started using large doses of insulin and metrozol to drive patients into a violent coma, just to be rid of them.

Most brutal medieval torture devices

The fans of the game "Amnesia: the dark descent", would know about the bull and the Iron Maiden.
And no, I am not talking about the metal band xD

Most of people think that humanity is a good os out world, but those structres just confirm us that it's not.

I always think, that people is just stupid, they create more and more torture machines, when they should think about to create more machines that would help people in medical ways, cience.

Let's go:

1. The brazen bull

image from the game "Amnesia: the dark descent"

It was designed in ancient Greece. This is a solid piece of brass was cast with a door on the side that could be opened and latched. The victim would be placed inside the bull and a fire set underneath it until the metal became literally yellow as it was heated. The victim would then be slowlyroasted to death all while screaming in agonizing pain. The bull was purposely designed to amplify these screams and make them sound like the bellowing of a bull.

2. The Judas cradle

This punishment has the victim sitting on the pyramid-shaped cradle, after which they would be forced down on it by ropes with the intent of stretching the victim's orifice over a long period of ime, slowly impaling them. To add more pain, the victim was usually naked and the device was rarely washed. So if the torture did not kill you, the infection contracted from it would.

This device was also shown in the game "Amnesia: the dark descent".

3. Iron maiden

The torture consist in closing the person into the structure, when in there, the victim was unable to move due to the great number of steel spikes impaling them from every direction. The interrogator would scream questions at the victim while poking them with jagged edges.

This device was also shown in the game "Amnesia: the dark descent".

4. Breast ripper

Used to cause major blood loss, the claws, which were often red hot, would be placed on the exposed breasts as the spikes penetrated beneath the skin. It would be then pulled or jerked causing large chunks or flesh to come off with it.

Abandoned house: 2

Yet another story of abandoned house.

This house seems to be frosen since it was abandoned. There are also cloths hanging up to the bath, and all kind of personal hygiene left in the bathroom, just awaiting for the owners to return.
This was a work of Dave, from a photolog called Freaktography http://freaktography.wordpress.com/

Dave was able to speak to the home owner's daughter, I don't know if she is still alive. Through his conversation, he learned that the house was willed to a local church when the owner passed away, and that the daughter and the church were in a dispute over who will recieve the land. The mysterious part, is the question why her belongings were left in the house for over 30 years.
